Pratap Sasan Degree College, Balakati is the 1st Degree College in the Balianta Block,Dist-Khurda,Odisha located in an area of 5 acres of land , adjacent to Bhubaneswar. It stands on the confluence of river Bhargavi, with lush green trees around. It is an affiliated college of Utkal University since 1990.

Ours is the 1st Degree College in the Block Balianta under District Khurda, Odisha. Located in the revenue village Pratap Sasan, commonly known as Balakati, adjacent to the Temple city,Bhubaneswar, it stands on the very origin of River Bhargavi, with dense Neem trees & vast river bed. It got recognition Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha, it is affiliated to Utkal University from the session 1990-91. Since then it has been properly imparts Education in Degree classes till today in uninterrupted manner.

College Library

The college is known for its commendable infrastructure with 6 class rooms and 1 hall. The time table for engagement of classes and for conduct of various academic programmes is adjusted in such a manner that the infrastructure is optimally used.
